4. What about its origins?

We talked about a couple of beer facts until this moment, but it’s time to say a few things about its origin. As we all know, this was and still is a widely consumed beverage. When researchers studied this drink, they managed to trace its beginnings and discovered signs of production in Western Iran. It has been demonstrated by chemical analyses of ceramics from this era that this tasty drink was made in Western Iran as early as 3,500 BC. Can you imagine that?

And this is not all about this beer fact. There’s proof that Göbekli Tepe was brewing beer in the Pre-Pottery Neolithic (c. 8500–5500 BC). Experts studied more and noticed that the earliest clear chemical proof of beer made from barley was discovered at Godin Tepe, in the western Iranian Zagros Mountains, between 3500 and 3100 BC.

What can we say? This beverage was loved by many people centuries ago and is still one of the most popular alcoholic drinks to this day!
