4. The gallbladder

This is a small organ that has the shape of a sac, and its main purpose is to store and concentrate the bile. This is the yellowish enzyme that helps with the digestion of fatty foods.

So, you might say that the gallbladder is not one of the organs you can live without, but we are here to prove you otherwise. Yes, it is an organ that has an important function, but your intestines don’t really need it in order to do their job.

More than that, sometimes solid deposits can form in the gallbladder. These are called gallbladder stones, and they can cause a lot of discomfort to anyone who has them. If the stones get extremely large and frequent, a person’s entire gallbladder may be surgically removed.

If you don’t have a gallbladder, there are some risks of which you need to be aware. You will need to have a low-fat diet, and everything should be okay. If you eat fatty foods, you can expect to have some digestive problems because the level of bile in the intestines will be lower.
