Do you need plenty of time to loosen up and recharge on your own? You may already acknowledge your introversion, but you perhaps didn’t know that seeking fulfillment in your own company can also indicate a high IQ.
According to a 2016 study analyzing the potential impact of friendship, people with greater intelligence felt less content with their lives when they spent more time socializing. That’s because more time spent socializing means less time for introspective thinking and pursuing your own projects and interests.
This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t cherish the time you invest in your close relationships. However, it’s important to note that people with a high IQ always make enough time for themselves.
