2. Loaded machine gun
Among the most shocking things buried in the backyard was a loaded rifle. Pretty scary, right? Some folk from Canada were digging up some soil to plant some stuff in his garden, and suddenly he discovered a dirty pillowcase.
Terrified of what might be inside, he carefully unfolded it. And the surprise! The shocking thing buried in the pillowcase was nothing more than an old cellphone and a loaded gun. Soon after his discovery, he emptied the gun, and after that, he called the authorities.

3. WWII projectiles
Somewhere around 1998, a WWII projectile was discovered near a school. And if this didn’t create enough panic at that time, it was only a matter of months before the archeologists discovered a lot of other shocking things buried underneath the school playground.
On the school property and in the backyards of adjoining housing projects, more than a hundred missiles and projectiles have been discovered. Thousands of homes and this specific school were constructed on a 12,000-acre plot of land that was originally a WWII bombing range.
The shocking thing is that despite the military efforts to “clean up” the area, there is still a bit of danger. You never know if you’re about to stumble upon a bomb or not…
