Kamala Harris has a strong background in politics and her credibility over the years increased a lot. In 2020, she was elected Vice President of the United States. She is the first woman of color to be elected to this function.
In 2024, considering the two powerful political parties competing, Kamala Harris was truly unique. She created amazingly positive reactions, from the public, and a lot of celebrities and powerful political figures endorsed her. Trump is a very successful businessman and while he was in power, he saw the country as a business. He started his career with the help of his father. He is the founder of the Trump organization, the reality TV star of “The Apprentice”, and the former president of the United States. His mentality is a strategic and winner mentality, and whether we like it or not, a lot of times, this kind of perspective Trump has is deeply needed for a political figure.
Certainly, both candidates have important qualities that will help them in the 2024 race.
Probably, the biggest difference is represented by their gender. If elected, Harris would be the first woman, the first Black woman, and the first South Asian American to become president.
3. What is the age gap between Trump and Harris?
There is an age gap of more than 18 years. The gap is also the fourth-largest between candidates if we are considering the past 5 decades. Harris is 59 years old, and the Americans believe a feminine and young presence is deeply needed in the political world. Donald Trump is 78 and has vast experience as a politician and businessman.
4. Policies and Ideologies
Trump’s policies reflect his “America First” ideology, focusing on nationalism economic protectionism, and a tough stance on immigration. Some of his key policy areas are:
- Economy: Donald Trump introduced significant tax cuts, to stimulate economic growth.
- Immigration: The Trump administration implemented strict immigration policies. He even considered building a border wall. Basically, he wants to ban several Muslim countries and stop undocumented immigrants from entering the U.S.

Harris’ policies reflect her progressive ideology and focus on social justice, equality, and last but not least, environmental sustainability. Some of her key policy areas are:
- Criminal Justice Reform: Harris was a successful prosecutor in the past years and she perfectly knows what the system lacks. She aims to end mass incarceration, eliminate cash bail, and address systemic racism within the justice system.
- Healthcare: Harris cares a lot about the American’s health. She wants to make the process easier. She is advocating for a public option within the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and eventually moving towards a single-payer system.
- Climate Change: Compared to Trump, Harris understands what a huge problem climate change can be for all of us. She is considering rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement.

Trump will win. Kamala will not. She would be the same as the last 4 years and people know that and they want Trump back.
I am Woman. I couldn’t get a charge card or purchase a home when I graduated high school. Being nearly 70 years old, I lived through several instances where women were second class citizens. My hope is that females understand the gravity of considering who to vote for. As an educator for 40 years, I championed the students that were racially profiled, abused and disabled. Please consider supporting the candidate that reaches half of the population.
donald trump is nothing but a loud mouthed schoolyard bully. I have never seen any other adult so into childish nicknames for those people he is really threatened by. He says he is not afraid of being sent to jail. That’s good because I’m sure one of his new friends will be named “Bubba”. Unfortunately, in reality there does seem to be different sets of laws for the wealthy and for the common American citizen. I just love how much the Supreme Court has bent in favor of trump by his appointees. Perhaps January 6th was, in fact, just a peaceful gathering where a few people accidentally lost their lives due to their own negligence. What reality do we actually live in? I’m a bit confused.
I’ll be honest here, I don’t know who to vote for anymore. The media plays up every single disgusting thing about candidates. Which of these two candidates really cares more about the American people? Which one is out for political or financial gain? Why do people want to vote for a candidate just because of their sex? Why can’t we find a way where if the President is a Dem then the VP needs to be a Rep and vice versa? It’s obvious these parties and their true followers will not deviate from voting for their party regardless of a candidates qualifications. That’s what is wrong in this country. We are all quick to believe everything we read and make judgments based on a lot of times, fabricated information. How do we truly make our country strong again with the American citizens in mind? It’s a real dilemma when you look at everything. Quite sad actually!
When someone tells you who they are, believe them. Trump tell us he wants retribution, he makes fun of the disabled, he call immigrants rapists, murderers, and will poison the blood. I absolutely love President Trump. I do not like what has happened to our country in the last four years since Biden/Kamala took office! I do not think President Trump can save everything. I am hoping behind him he will have the highest authority in court backing him up. God bless America, God bless President Trump, and God bless, Harris also. Kamala Harris is nothing but a liar. Biden put her in charge of the border. She never did anything to close the border millions of people came in. They also flew people in and bussed them to states around the country. They lost 85,000 children. She doesn’t care. What about all the drugs that came in. So many other problems like child salvery and they were sold for sex. She did a really great job on the border. What about the economy they ruined. Sorry I don’t feel Harris is the right female

With all the dirty things done by the democrats from the time Mr Trump was in the office. The democrats acted like children.
Is that carrying anger to far? Maybe yes.
I was a true blue for as long as I had been
voting. But after I saw what the Democrats had become no way in H was I going to vote for them. I followed Republican since Mr Trump. This past 3 and 1/2 years I have not seen anything that the VP proved that she will be able to help the USA.
I know from his past that Mr Trump can Make America Strong again. We need someone who really cares for the USA and Harris doesn’t show any sign of it.
If she wins she will bring us down lower then Obama ever did.
What I have learned is when you vote and who you vote for is your choice to make alone. Don’t look at the party like most people do. Look at what each candidate brings to the table. Pick the one you truly and honestly feel will help our country.

Further, Biden assigned her to the Space Force, Border Security, and the Council for Artificial Intelligence to advance. Her contributions to these three areas are underwhelming. Further, she has shown scant talent as a manager, executive, or leader. Instead, this article mentions her race, ethnicity, and sex, which are immutable factors irrelevant to national leadership. And Harris hasn’t shown even a nominal ability to articulate her ideas. She is an inferior public speaker and creative thinker. Her public appearances are embarrassing, as evidenced by her nearly nonstop laughing. Her grasp of economics is superficial. Lastly, there is no evidence of her being able to solve the complex problems facing this nation. Her primary campaign theme is ‘Trump is a dictator, so vote for me.’ She has shamelessly and deceitfully denied Biden’s infirmities, noting instead he is as sharp as a tack. She is the most incompetent and unworthy national office nominee seen in over a century.
